We Celebrate with a Pool Day!!!!

Mommy got laid off today. She took me to the pool to celebrate. :) I think Mommy is going to find a way to stay home with me. Won't that be spectacular?!?! I bet we have a fun summer ahead! Go Mommy! I hope we get to have more pool days together. This was fun even though I was really tired at the end of the day....

5/17/2008 The Mighty Texas Dog Walk

Olivia and I took Kunde and Eli to the Mighty Texas Dog Walk. Yes, Liv is walking barefoot. The silly girl decided to wear flip flops (despite my advice) and had to walk barefoot after her flip flop wore a bare spot on her foot. Thankfully, she loves being barefoot. Eli tolerated the walk quite well. He got a little grumpy towards the end but he really enjoys being in the jogging stroller. We had a great time!

Happy Playing on the Floor

We spend a lot of time on the floor these days... learning how to roll, scoot and crawl. Elias is making progress but still enjoys just playing with his feet most of the time. He only rolls and crawls when he feels like it no matter how much encouraging I do (video camera ready of course).

I just had to show ya'll today's yummy little outfit. The babysitter couldn't get over how cute he looked. I certainly have fun shopping for baby clothes. Who says its no fun unless you have a girl?!?!

Last Night at Daddy's House

Eli and I went to his Daddy's house for dinner last night and he had his first bath in a kitchen sink! If he could talk, he would tell you about how much fun it was. The pictures really don't do justice!

I bought a Pack N' Play to leave at Daddy's house so that we could spend a little more time over there. Eli had no problem going to sleep in it. I laid him down wide awake after his bath and he rubbed his bunny on his face for a few minutes and was out like a light! I am reminded daily of what a good baby I have.... he's so yummy....

Eli's Version of "Grumpin"

Here is how Eli behaves when he gets tired and grumpy. We had just finished his bath and he was telling me all about how he was ready for bed. Isn't it weird that we know what our kids are saying even when they are not actually speaking English?

A sleepy boy this morning.

Eli woke up around 2am this morning. He's been doing a lot of that lately due to teething. I decided to just bring him to bed with me as I do most mornings and he sure slept soundly in my bed.....

Elias is getting too big for the baby bath. He does pretty well sitting up so it might be time to upgrade. :) You can see how much he enjoys bathtime in this video. He sure can make a mess for such a little guy.

Mommy, Eli & Kunde

We went out to my friend Amy's house for a play date on Saturday 5/3/08. Kunde loved running with all the other Ridgebacks and Eli loved being outside. You can tell by the pictures that Kunde just loves her little brother! Awe....

Elias has been identifying the difference between textures lately. He really seems to like anything silky. You can see from this picture that he loves this big piece of satin just to cuddle up with. He's so yummy! (Please pardon the picture quality as this was taken with my camera phone.)
